Individual Contribution

My individual contributions included game mechanics design, code in Unity C#, documentation and project management.

I formed a team for this game jam by meeting Alex, Robin and Yasmine through the Bafta Crew Games network during lockdown 2021 and bringing us all together online. We stayed true to the game jam spirit by melding the initial prompt with our lived experiences to arrive at our final interpretation, following the ceremonial emergency de-scoping on the second day.

It was a pleasure working with these awesome people. We talked over Discord, brainstormed together on Miro then broke out onto Unity Teams to write code, create art, design the UI/UX and playtest levels. The act of collaborating to create a small game enabled a group of strangers to meet, work together and become friends during a period of global social distancing.
